Understanding creative work.
Creative Coffee Break 12
In order to foster creativity and use it properly, we need a deeper understanding of creative work. Marc proposes a model for this: the hierarchy of creativity.
The word “creativity” is used inflationary. Whether in job advertisements, applications, or as a skill in general. Yet few people actually understand how creativity works and how it can be used for business and one’s own career.
In today’s episode, Marc Suess proposes a model of the hierarchy of creativity. Not to devalue or upgrade individual aspects, but to gain more clarity on what creative work looks like and how to build successful creative teams. This ranges from outside to inside processes – from curating and remixing to improvisation and craft to pure inspiration.
How do you experience creative work? Does this model help you or do you have a different idea? Share your thoughts!
