How do you tell over 80 years of pop and protest history in 60 seconds? I developed the official trailer for the book “Keine Macht für Niemand” for Reclam Verlag and the author Marcus S. Kleiner – an audiovisual journey through German pop and cultural history. Services from idea to realization: concept & storyboard, AI-generated visuals & animations, shooting & staging with the author as well as editing, post-production & sound design.
The concept: The trailer uses artificial intelligence to create images from every decade from the 1940s to the present day – inspired by social upheavals, pop icons and protest culture. The author Marcus S. Kleiner becomes a time traveler who is guided through artificially generated worlds. The visual language is deliberately multi-layered: sometimes striking, sometimes surreal, sometimes documentary.
The result: an emotional, artistic book trailer that is used on social media as well as at readings, on publishers’ websites and in online retail – and underlines the relevance of the book both visually and thematically.
