Ein weiteres Beispiel waren Warnhinweise und -symbole \u2013 und wie sich ihre wichtige Bedeutung ver\u00e4ndert oder gar verloren geht. F\u00fcr die Entwicklung des bekannten Biohazard Symbols, f\u00fcr das 1966 Ingenieure und Designer im Auftrag der US-Regierung kollaborierten, wurde ein Kriterienkatalog entwickelt, der der das Design von Symbolen erm\u00f6glicht, die \u201cmemorable, but meaningless\u201d sind. Visuell starke Symbole, die Menschen erinnern und die mit beliebiger Bedeutung aufgeladen werden k\u00f6nnen?
